FAQs

Here are the answers to some frequently asked questions.  If you don't see your question here or elsewhere on the site, send me an email faithrainbow@yahoo.com and I'll probably add it.

1.  Are kids invited to the wedding?
Kids are invited to the Sunday Picnic the day after the wedding, in Boulder, CO.  This way they can help us celebrate our wedding, in a setting that is much more kid-friendly than our formal wedding will be.  For the ceremony and reception, we encourage you to get a babysitter and leave the kids at home, so you will be able to come and dance the night away!  For those of you who won't have the option of a babysitter, please contact me and we will help make things enjoyable for you all.

2.  What should we wear?
Wear something fabulous, wear something outrageous, wear something that makes you feel gorgeous.  The more formal the better.  Formal, but something that really expresses your inner self as well.  Love huge hats with feathers and lace?  Go ahead.  Always wish you had a place to wear that slinky cocktail dress and those spike heels?  This is that place.  Have a formal tux and top hat in the back of your closet?  Bring it out!  You can't be too fancy for this wedding, so have some fun with it.

3.  Tell me a little more about Steampunk
Well, I got started in the "About Us" tab, but if you're fascinated to learn more, take a gander at this YouTube video, about a Steampunk exhibition in Oxford, UK:

4.  I want to wear Steampunk clothes, but I don't know where to get them!
You are certainly not required or even expected to wear steampunk clothing to our wedding.  Mostly, we just want people to be fancy.  But if you're feeling inspired (or just curious), here are my favorite websites:
